I work as a Marketing consultant for independent hotels in Paris. I’ve been working with marketing for almost two decades and quite like it. I love the creative part of the work and how no two campaigns are exactly the same so there is always room for a new and brighter idea. You can check my other blog for my work-related stuff: http://www.mirarmedia.com
In September 2009 I started working on an old imaginary passion which was photography. I bought my first DSLR which was a Canon 500D, the camera was stolen and for a few month I used a Nikon D300, I currently own a Canon 5D Mark II and am loving that camera. (Note for all the Nikon, Canon extremists out there, I love both, I switched to Canon for cost reasons).
I do mainly landscape photography and now am working on interior photography for hotels. Every so often I also try something totally different.
My equipment:
Camera: Canon 500D, Nikon D300, Canon 5D Mark II

Your photos totally brightened my day and brought me into the present rather than dwelling on a recent problem. Those photos are very artistic and skillfully shot. Good job!
Thanks a lot. Am happy you enjoyed them. Feel free to use the photos and link back to my site. Inform me for commercial use.
[...] About [...]
Having noticed your name in a blog, I could not help clicking on into your website. I am from Malta and indeed your surname Soler is quite common in Malta. I also clicked on your father’s website and I noticed he was born in Algiers. That is probably the missing link as many Maltese migrants have settled in Algiers the past 150 years.
In any case, you have a gift – thanks for providing me with a surreal break from my hectic schedule.
Dear Martin Soler, I very much Like your page and with your permission, I would like to add your blog to my links, so more people will be able to visit your blog.
Sincerely,
Irina
